Dartmouth Youth Group

Dartmouth Youth Group (DYG) was officially launched in 2022. Our first event was a Roller Disco at Dartmouth Leisure Centre. We hoped a few young people might turn up and were pleasantly surprised to welcome over 40 kids! The following month, we doubled our numbers and now regularly host around 80 kids each month at our Roller Discos. We held our first Youth Night on Pancake Day (1st March 2022) with pancakes and games and although we initially had more volunteers than attendees, we now have between 30-40 kids attending every Tuesday, and welcome new faces each week.

 

As a charity, we rely donations from the community, generous sponsorship from our supporters, food & drink from local pubs and business, and the valuable time of our volunteers (some of the original crew pictured below!) ​

Our aim is to help the young people of Dartmouth and the surrounding areas through the provision of recreational and leisure activities.

 

All of our activities are FREE. And we will do everything we can to keep it this way.
